In the Faroe Islands (June 2025)

For the past three or so years, I have been doing a Q&A on this blog as a way for all of you, my Readers, to ask any questions that you would like me to respond to. Whether it is about travel, blogging, or anything else pertinent, I would be happy to answer them, so long as it’s kept appropriate. I will be gathering the questions and writing a Q&A post to be featured later this month on July 30th, for my upcoming nine-year blogiversary.

  1. Another year has flown by! I’d like to ask, if you only had the time or finances to go to five more places, which five would be your priority? Congratulations on your nine years of high quality, well written, interesting posts and personable answers to comments.

  6. Hi Rebecca, my question is this: How do you make and find the time to post so regularly, all the while holding a full-time job? I’ve noticed you post once per week (on Wednesdays 😊). I work a very busy full-time job and find it challenging to post on a consistent basis. Do you have any advice for how to post more consistently?

  8. I find this Q&A original and I’m happy to contribute to it for another year. As you have been travelling for so long, do you think you prepare your trips differently? I mean, there used to be guidebooks and road maps, but I have the feeling that this is being lost to the internet and smartphones. What does this mean for you? Apart from the necessary bookings, what do you research in advance, such as excursions, café or restaurant addresses?
