Hello!

I found out yesterday that I hit over 3000 follows on WordPress! Honestly, I’m speechless…considering that I’ve been on this blogging platform for almost 9 years (soon to be a decade), I’m beyond happy that so many of you have continued to follow, read, and like my posts.

I’d started Rebecca Goes Rendezvous in 2016 when I was 23, following a year of teaching abroad in France after university. I wanted a place to share and document my adventures traveling Europe from the past year, and little did I know it would take me on a journey around the world in the years that followed. From France to Japan to Peru, I saw so many beautiful places in my twenties that I’m incredibly blessed and delighted to have done– not to forget share all of those adventures on this blog.

Although I’ve long since left France and no longer teach, I still do my best to travel as much as I can when I can. Even after COVID had hit, after getting a proper 9-to-5 job, and shifting life priorities, I remain steadfast in my love for travel and for sharing them through Rebecca Goes Rendezvous. A lot has changed from my early twenties to my now-thirties, and I am extremely thankful that all of you support and enjoy reading about little ol’ me and my shenanigans around the world.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and here’s to much more fun to come! 🙂

    1. Definitely! It has taken years to get to this point, but I’m really grateful for the hard work and support I’ve gotten throughout. Here’s to more adventures in the years to come!
