I thought it looks all fancy and dreamy from far, wasn’t worth the trip up there. But I love allgau region, can totally trek for days on !

  I admit, the interior didn’t wow me as much as its exterior. I think it’s because I’d been to Versailles and Peterhof Palace beforehand in France and Russia, respectively, that I’d already been spoiled with more-grandiose palaces and castles. Still, Neuschwanstein castle is worth the trip over while visiting Germany!

    I have been to Versailles. Haven’t seen it from inside either. But I would still love to go there again, for those sprawling gardens of versailles. Neuschwanstein Castle seemed better as a dream!
