Hey, folks!
I was nominated by fellow travel blogger Anita from 100 Country Trek (thanks, dear!) to post one favorite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then nominate someone else to participate. That’s 10 days, 10 travel pictures, and 10 nominations. It is fun to search through my favorite photos, bringing back memories of my travels. Today, I nominate Véro from My French Chronicles to do this challenge.
PS I won’t be doing this challenge over 10 consecutive days, just because I have other posts I’d like to share with you in the meantime. But rest assured: more photos will arrive in the next weeks (and months) to come!

I have no clue where this is, but it’s gorgeous!

No idea where this might be taken. My best guess is somewhere in Asia:) Beautiful spot for a glass of wine, for sure.

It’s not in Asia, but I can imagine why! Thanks for taking your shot, Leighton. 🙂

Plitvice Lakes in Croatia? 🙂 Wonderful place to have a glass of grapes 🙂

You are very close…but not quite! This place is lesser-known than Plitvice. 🙂

Oh, I’ m too late! But at least I was close 😉

I thought first it was Plitvice, but seeing your comment it can only be Kravica.

You’re absolutely right (you waited for my reply from the previous comment before you answered, huh? 😉)! Beautiful place!

Actually, I had liked the Plitvice answer already made by Agata, thinking that it was correct at first sight 🙂 .

you KNOW Lookom knows where it is. The challenge now is to find one he can’t guess Rebecca! 😉

Very true! I’ll try to make it more challenging in the upcoming “Travel Challenge” posts. 🙂

I was going to guess Asia, too, but I just read the comments… I was way off!

That was a good guess, too!

I was going to guess Plitvice too but I see from other comments that’s incorrect…

That’s still a good guess! Plitvice isn’t too far from this place, in any case. 🙂

They certainly have many wonderful waterfalls in Croatia, and I would love to see them one day 🙂

This one actually isn’t in Croatia, but it’s nearby! Very true that the waterfalls in this part of the world are stunning!

What an absolutely breathtaking place for a drink! I wouldn’t have guessed the location, but I’m glad you shared this photo and that someone else was able to figure it out!

It was certainly a lovely place! Still touristy, but not as much as Plitvice. A glass of wine was the perfect way to end the day out!

Like many others, I was thinking Plitvice… Have just Googled Kravica, and it looks equally scenic! One of these days, in the post-Covid world, I’ll make it over to Eastern Europe 🙂

It appears that this particular “Travel Challenge” post has been a tricky one! Kravica is lesser-known, but just as gorgeous as its larger cousin, Plitvice. I hope you can make it to that part of Europe soon!

I don’t care. I’d just like to be there.

Sadly because Covid I can’t Travel anymore for my blog that I just started. Feels really sad that I have to wait before planning a new travel journey 😦

Kravice waterfall is beautiful! I joined a Mostar/Kravice waterfall tour and you can get up close to the waterfall.

I believe I did a similar tour, if not the exact one! I took a day trip to Mostar from Split, and on the way back went to Kravica. Certainly a stunner and underrated, too!

I also started the tour in Split! It was a last minute decision and so glad I did it.
